Let me take a moment to introduce myself. I am Debbie Blair, owner of Homespun Designs Quilt Shoppe & More. Opening in January of 2009 was a dream come true.
I have loved sewing and crafts for as long as I can remember, and had a dream of owning my own store one day. As a child I was happiest when I had a piece of fabric in hand. That lead to years of sewing as well as upholstery.
In 1997 Homespun Designs began as a home based business, offering home decorating accents. This included items such as country quilting—rag and chenille quilts, table runners, market totes, crocheted rugs and accessories just to name a few. Teaching was also a large part of the business.
The business grew and a store location was found. So, Homespun Designs Quilt Shoppe & More opened it’s doors and is what it is today! Still growing, thanks to our wonderful customers.
I would also like to extend a huge thank you to all my family and friends who have encouraged and supported me every step of the way. I guess you could say it’s a never ending “Love Affair” with fabric.
I hope I have inspired you to begin, or keep on quilting—the only limitation is your imagination!
